Planet Granite, located at Crissy Field, is an indoor climbing, yoga, and fitness facility. It opened its doors in 2008 inside a former Army motor pool building. Fitness junkies come here for its 45-foot high climbing walls and 25,000 square feet of state-of-the-art climbing terrain – all with amazing views of the waterfront through the enormous north-facing windows.

This is a great gym for all ages and all experience levels. Beginners can take introduction to belay lessons to learn the ropes; lessons include gear rental and a day pass to the gym. More experienced climbers will enjoy the wide variety of routes, cracks, and terrains, which are updated regularly.

Details: Two beginner belay lessons. The belay lesson teaches you to manage the ropes (called belaying). A beginner belay lesson includes gear rental (shoes and harness) and one day pass. At the end of class, students will receive a temporary belay card so they can continue to climb and belay for the rest of the day! Reservations recommended. Expires 4/8/18. Valid at all locations.
